After my trip to the Canary Islands, I was on my way back and landed at Cologne Airport. I was really looking forward to the journey home, but no sooner had I left the car park than I was taken by surprise in an unexpected way. It was dark, and we were driving through a deserted car park where there was a lorry with a driver. He’d actually just wanted to get some sleep and made his presence known by locking and unlocking the lorry, but we were driving too fast on his trailer, and in the end it all led to an unexpected situation. I hope he at least treated himself to a bit of a break. I certainly looked the part afterwards 💦
