I’m looking at you as if I already know: today, you’re going to want to spoil me.

I’m in no rush. I take a slow sip, smile, and give you plenty of time to get thoroughly tangled up in your own thoughts. You can look. You can try to stay calm. You can even convince yourself that you’re still in control of the situation. But that look has already told you far more than words ever could: you’ve been part of my game for a long time now. And I love how hard you try to pretend you aren’t mine yet.
