To address the elephant in the room: yes, it's a dick-shaped rock in Madeira 😁 Now to the main subject: Today I've been reading up on the "male loneliness epidemic" and how it is exacerbated by social media, and research findings are quite disturbing. It's a multidimensional problem, and I won't bore you with statistics, but my impression is that many guys I interact with here and on other platforms are affected by this. Social media -- especially pages with pretty scantily clad girls -- can create an illusion of connectivity that doesn’t substitute for real-world interactions. I feel partly responsible, as I do profit from these interactions in one way or another. Guys, try to go out more, set time limits on your screen time, interact with ladies in the real world (I recommend the gym, not so much the church 😁). You all deserve to be happy.
