Will the large anal plug fit in my ass or will it damage my tight hole?

I've worn an anal plug quite a few times, and I absolutely love the feeling of it being in my ass. However, I've never actually tried the really big one, the 41mm diameter kind. Today I tried it, and I stretched my hole first with two other plugs before putting the really thick one in! Do you think it fit, or did it rip my hole open...?
